Hello ! My name is Maya, I am 20 and I love meeting people.

I am currently backpacking around south east Asia and Latin America for a year. I love to get out there and meet new people. I want to discover the world and have new experiences.

I am fund of film photography and video making. In addition, I do all sorts of sports. I love being active, but also really enjoy a chill lifestyle from time to time.

My favorite way of traveling is by being surrounded by people who each bring something to the experience. We all have different journeys, but together, we can make them better.

I speak fluent French, Italian and English. I grew up in france, with an Italian mother. Therefore our home was always open to conversations in both languages. Furthermore, all my mother's family still lives in Italy, meaning I spend a lot of my time involved in the culture. At the age of 14, I left the comfort of my home to go study in the USA for a semestre. Since then, my english skills have remained.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

- Yoga : 200 hours YTT. In January of 2022 I got certified in Bali. I have a big desire to improve my practice through teaching and helping others on their journey.

- Social Media : I have been a content creator on social media for 10 years and have gathered over 75 000 subscribers on YouTube. I currently have 20 000 subscribers on a TikTok account dedicated to my travels.

- Hospitality : Most of my previous jobs were waitressing. Not only was it about serving food on time, it was also a way to learn how to communicate with clients and do my best to satisfy both parties' interests. (more than 6 months of experience)

- Babysitting : I have babysat two little girls of the ages of 4 and 7 for a few months and I absolutely loved it !

- Teaching : I have spent the last 3 years of my life tutoring children and adults to help them better their English. I also spent the month of June 2022 doing a workaway in Kenya, helping in a school.


I am open to more or less anything you would need help with. I always have a smile on my face, and put my heart into what I do.

My favorite part of all travel is meeting people. You can forget landscapes and accomodations, but not a human being.
