My names Max, 30, and I am a Garden Designer with a love for all things plants including that of the productive nature. I have a huge interest to learn about permaculture and sustainable living hoping to one day embrace this type of lifestyle myself.

I grew up in the English countryside surrounded by animals; dogs, horses and my two sisters. This is where I started my infatuation with the garden. I however currently live in London with my boyfriend who is Spanish so it would be brilliant to experience a bit of the Spanish culture and see what it is like to live in the somewhat challenging environment of Southern Spain. I am keen to understand how plants & food are grown with the generous amount of heat and modest water supply (rather different to the UK climate). I also feel my Spanish es non bueno and embarrassed that it's not better so getting to speak it more would do me good.

During my early 20s I volunteered on farms and small holdings in Austria and across Australia and they were some of the most restorative experiences. City life can have a sanitising effect and so I relish any opportunity to get my hands in the earth. I have a highly motivated attitude towards manual labour and enjoy learning new skills.

I'm a hard worker especially when it comes to manual labour and hands on work. I can draw and paint which helps when it comes to making things look presentable.
I am a keen gardener.
I'm good with people, plants and animals and always interested to learn more about them.
