Beschreibung

Ciao! I'm Matilde, a 19yo girl from Italy. I just graduated from High School and I chose to take a gap year before enrolling in college. I spent my 4th year of High School in the US, in a village near LA, and this experience opened my eyes and mind towards what travelling really means: getting to know other cultures by living in the same way people of that certain culture live.
For 10 years of my life I have been part of a Scout group, which principles of community, loyalty and altruism profoundly shaped me into who I am now;
it's for this reason that, since a couple of years ago, I decided to combine my love for travelling and for helping other people, attending two volunteering camps, at first in France than in Germany. These have been two amazing experiences and so I'm willing to pursue this path throughout this organization.
I really love nature and I truly enjoy a simple rustic life, far from the caos and rush that caracterize our time.
My plan is to spend one month approx in each country I'll visit until next May, starting off with Greece, than the Azores, South America, Asia, Africa and finishing off with Northern Europ...but in reality I don't have any specific destinations in mind, so I'm open to any suggestion and proposal!
