Hi! We are Martin and Natalia. We are backpacking through Africa starting in February 2020 with no set plans or arrangements. We will begin our adventure in South Africa and then go wherever life takes us.
We are a very active and open-minded couple. We were both college athletes (soccer and softball). We love all outdoor activities such as biking, running, hiking, swimming and so on. We enjoy a healthy diet but have no restrictions on anything, just a good balance. We have experience in gardening as Natalia's family in Colombia lives on a farm with animals. We love the feel of soil on our hands.
Through this travel journey we hope to learn, grow, connect, and give back. We want to immerse ourselves in different cultures and traditions. We can't wait to share this journey with you.

We are both efficient and very hardworking. We both have skills in customer service, food service, gardening, animal care, and outdoor work. Martin graduated from University with a degree in finance/economics. Before our travels he worked as a mortgage lender. Natalia graduated with a degree in social work/social services. However, spent most of working career in child care and also working at an organic market. Martin also has experience in graphic design and is also involved in the electronic music scene.

We love music and art! Martin likes to play the guitar and Natalia is currently learning how to spin poi. Overall, we are very laid back. We just want to enjoy the present moment and share the love!
