My name is Maroua, and you can also call me Timi.
I'm an architect with a passion for exploration and insatiable curiosity to discover the world! Thrilled to embark on a journey to Southeast Asia, bringing with me a positive and open-minded spirit, eager to collaborate on creative projects, social activities, tend to a garden, or simply enjoy good conversations.
I’m truly confident that putting my skills in use while developing links with the local community would be a rewarding and maybe life-changing experience. And for this, I cannot wait to start !
Beyond architecture and designing , my interests include music, photography, drawing, all forms of art, spirituality, discovering new cultures, farming, wildlife, hiking, and various outdoor activities... If you're someone who appreciates nature, cultural exchange, and a touch of artistic flair, I am certain that we will make an exceptional team!

I have a variety of skills in creative tasks like designing, photography, drawing, painting, pottery and graphic design. On the practical side, I have competence in construction, general DIY, farming, gardening, cooking, cleaning, pet setting and project management.
I enjoy learning new things and I'm always ready to dive in and get my hands dirty!

Was noch ...

Several months ago, I made the decision to take a sabbatical year, allowing me the opportunity to fulfill a long-held dream: exploring Southeast Asia.
I want to experience the real, everyday life of Asian cultures, and I believe that volunteering is one of the best ways to fully engage in an authentic experience.
I've had various volunteering experiences in my home country, some of them are:
-Participating in the "Architecture and Sharing" workshop: Create To Dare to Dream, a collaboration between the National School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tunis, the Institute of Fine Arts of Tunis, and the National School of Architecture of -Paris la Villette. Our project involved creating amenity spaces for children at the National Cancer Hospital. We designed and renovated the department, reinventing the collective area, decorating rooms, painting walls, drawing on them, and assembling furniture.
-Volunteering in the "We Are Also Tunisians" campaign, which focuses on defending children's rights without family support. I contributed to the creation of a flashmob and was involved in designing graphical content for the event.
-Volunteering with Taabir & Naseej Associations to collect medicines and financial donations for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
-Collecting humanitarian aid for refugees in Ras Jedir Camps (Tunisia/Libya border).
Other fact :
I grew up in a rural environment as my family owns an orange farm. This upbringing deeply connected me to nature and accustomed me to farming activities.
