NB: I am only available between the 26th of september and the 4th of october.

Hi!
My name is Marita, and I live in Oslo, Norway. I work as a business and economics teacher at an upper secondary school, and I love animals of all kinds—except spiders.

This is the first summer in more than thirty years that I've been free to do whatever I want, as I no longer have children or pets living at home. Over the years, I've had dogs, cats, and parrots, and all of my pets have been rescued by, or rehomed to me.

I do miss having animals, though, and I think the combination of caring for animals, experiencing different countries and cultures, and being able to work at the same time would be the ultimate experience.

I'm a very versatile person. I have a strong academic background, but I'm also practical and enjoy hands-on work. I know my way around both the house and the garden, and I'm always happy to learn new skills.

I'm passionate about nature, ecology, geology, flora and fauna, history, and meeting new people. And yes—I also enjoy gaming! 😊 (I'm a Nintendo fan.)

I speak English fairly well and a tiny bit of German, but even less Italian, French and Spanish—though I'm interested in learning. Could we be a good match? :)

My hobbies and interests are quite diverse—from prospecting for gold and crystals to mushroom foraging, gardening, Nintendo, backgammon - my favourite, and caring for animals. I have raised quite a few magpies and squirrels as well. I am interested in maintaining a good health, and I am a firm believer that it all starts with the gut. I other words, fermenting almost everything is one of my dearest hobbies! :)
