Beschreibung

We are a multi generational couple with vastly different skill set and interests.
Marija is a former teacher and school principal. Knowledgeable about languages, teaching and food. She has taught English as second language.She makes the average meal taste wonderful. Even made Norman love vegetables, not an easy feat.
Norman is great with numbers and owned a marketing company fulfilling the sales role, so lots of people skills, marketing expertise and organizational talents. He has some light maintence skills and has volunteered as native English speaker to help other master English, and worked in soup kitchen.

We have been traveling together for 24 months. Looking forward to making ourselves useful for the right project!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I've had the pleasure of gaining diverse experiences throughout my career, wearing multiple hats as a researcher and project manager. One fascinating aspect of my work has been applying anthropological approaches in the field of education, which has allowed me to bring a unique perspective to the table. Alongside my professional endeavors, I've always had a passion for teaching English (ESL, Cambridge curriculum, IB).

Another passion of mine, spanning over two decades, is singing. While I've had some formal education in music, it has predominantly been a semi-professional hobby of mine. I'd be thrilled to share the basics of scat singing, breathing techniques, and other essential skills for aspiring singers.


In 2018, I obtained my hatha yoga teacher's license, which is approved by Yoga Alliance. Since then, I have intermittently led yoga classes, spreading the joy and benefits of this practice.

Cooking and being in the kitchen bring me immense joy and fulfillment. I have a deep love for experimenting with flavors, creating delicious dishes, and sharing the experience with others. A significant portion of my expertise lies in preparing vegetarian food, as a dedicated vegetarian for 29 years, I take great pleasure in helping others discover the joys of vegetarian cooking and sharing my knowledge in the kitchen.

Overall, I consider myself a fast learner and an inherently curious individual. I thrive on new challenges and enjoy immersing myself in different settings, always seeking opportunities to broaden my horizons.
