Beschreibung

Hello! My name is Marie and I am a 23 year old student studying English Literature. I grew up in the Black Forest in the South West of Germany and have spent the majority of my childhood outside with my three sisters. And still, one of the things that makes me most happy is being in nature - either hiking, cycling, going on a walk or running. And because growing up in a big family, I really enjoy being around good people and learning from each other. For me, it is very important to connect with people from other countries and to broaden my horizon. One of my goals is to regularly get out of my comfort zone and learn as much as I can. Other things that make me happy are painting and drawing, reading, singing, playing board games, cooking and drinking my morning coffee outside :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

- I was an Aupair for 9 months and was responsible for 3 young boys (1, 3 and 5 years old). I drove them to their kindergarden/ activities and minded them during the day by going outside and playing a lot. I would therefore say that I am good with kids, sociable and open-minded.
- At the moment, I am also volunteering in an elderly home and we play board games/ quizzes and go on walks or we just talk about them and their past. I have been volunteering there for about a year now.
- I have also helped my parents and sisters when we moved house and had to renovate much of the new house. I painted the walls, helped in the garden, cleaned a lot and teared down an old wall.
- After graduation, a friend of mine and myself went to Sweden to help on a farm with sheep and goats. We put new fences up, cleaned the barn and went out with the dogs as well.
