Hi we are Marie and Anand,

We are 25 and 27 years old and come from Berlin, Germany.

We are an open minded, active, positive and kind couple, who want to see the world and do something good at the same time. We don’t want to be just tourists, but become part of the culture and learn. We are both very reliable and hard working.

Marie: I studied communication science and I work for the world animal protection organisation (remotely/ 10 hours a week).
I live with my mom and my dog together but I also have three sisters and a big family overall. I really love that.

People who describe me always say that I am a smiley person and I guess that's true. My motto is happy mind - happy life. I am super organized and clean. I love to have a plan. Animals mean the world to me and someday I would like to have my own sanctuary.

I have got great experiences in childcare because I have spend 9 weeks in Australia to Au Pair two georgous girls in a very nice family. Plus I have two little cousins, whom I totally adore and I also spend a lot of time with them. Furthermore I was volunteering in an elephant camp in Chiang Mai, Thailand for two weeks, which was the absolute best time of my life so far because elephants are just amazing creatures and I got to feed and wash them, I talked to the tourists about the elephants and I even cleaned the elephant poop.
After that I spend two weeks volunteering on an alpaca farm in ireland and two weeks in a dog shelter in Portugal.

My skills include Social Media work (as I do this at work), I am very creative, I am good with people and animals, I learn very quickly and no challenge is too big for me. I love baking, the ocean and laughing. I also worked as a waitress, as a journalist, in a bakery and for a PR agency. My skills are therefor wide-ranging and I am happy to try new things.

Anand: I studied medical engineering and love finding solutions for problems. My motto is never give up.
I have Mongolian roots because my father is from Mongolia and I still have family there, which I visit regularly. Family and friends are super important to me and overall I am a very social person.

People would say I am very active and curios. I love doing sports, I used to be a professional swimmer and when I quit I started with weight training and boxing. I have experience in working as a coach for swim lessons as well as box training. I love teaching people things and I am very good at motivating and helping others.

Just like Marie I have several volunteer experiences. I took care of two super active and great boys and helped them with their schoolwork. In Mexico I took care of street dogs and helped with daily tasks such as preparing lunches, gardening, doing laundry and running errands. I am a good houseman as I like it clean and I think I am fairly good at fixing things. In Costa Rica I worked in a Hostel to prepare the breakfast and greet the guests. I love being around people and animals.

My skills include teaching people all sort of things, project- and product management and handywork. I am interested in and progressing in video- and photography. We have a drone, a GoPro and a professional camera which we use to create beautiful content. I am always curious to learn more things and willing to help wherever I can.
