Hello :)
my name is Marianna and I am from a nice medium-sized town in Germany. Ever since I was a little girl, my parents would take me and my siblings to trips all around Europe, mostly in an overpacked car on a pretty low budget. But somehow, they always found the most beautiful places. That influenced me in a way, that I now enjoy being in adventurous situations. Because of that I would say, I am pretty flexible when it comes to travelling, I am able to adapt to a lot of different situations. Now I finished school and decided, to travel around Europe, partly with a good friend of mine. Workaway seems to be the right choice, because it offers the chance to gain a lot of experience within a year. In my spare time, I play the piano or the guitar, I also like to sing. I have a few knitting projects going right now. Besides these more calm activities, I love to do all different kinds of sports, like parkour, Inline skating and dancing.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I spent the last 13 years at a Waldorf school. Therefore I have gained a lot of practical skills in the special subjects the school is offering, such as carpentry, weaving, handicrafts, printmaking, gardening and bookbinding. Besides that, the school system is designed to include as many internships as possible in our education. For instance, I have worked alone at a farm and together with my former class in a forest. By that I learned how to do things by my own, but also how to achieve good group dynamics and work efficiently. As a part of another internship I worked at a restaurant and I continued working there in my free time. Personally, I enjoy cooking and baking very much. In the social section, I decided to take an internship in a children´s home, so I have experience working with kids.
Besides the fact that I collected a lot of memories that are very important to me, I learned a lot during these experiences and gained inside in different job areas.

I am a pretty optimistic and extroverted person and always enjoy meeting new people. I am interested in the places that I visit, their history and their cultural aspects. I am probably going to study something musik related, so I am interested in all different types of music.
