Hi!

We are Margarete (22 Years) and Christopher (25) and just finished our Bachelor in Classical Philology in Leipzig and Ecological and Environmental Protection in Zittau.
Hapinness for us comes within our Hobbys and a balanced lifestyle. While I (M) love to do handcrafting, being creative and doing things like crochet, working with wood or drawing something, its as important for me to spend a lot of time in nature, move my body and eat good food. Christopher is into sports, does triathlon on a regular base and spends most of his free time with Taki. Its as important for him to cook well and enjoy his time. We both like to read, as well as we love to hike or go for a swim, but also a cozy evening and a good movie is super relaxing. Its about balance.
We were raised on a (kind of) farm on the countryside of East Germany and therefore know how to treat animals and take care of them. We learned how to do gardening and the basics of growing vegetable and fruits. This lifestyle and being close to nature brings both of us happiness.

Our motivation is to get to know another country of living and not studying for a while. We are looking forward to spend the wintertime in a sunnier region, but especially Spain and south of France sounds amazing. To find a connection to the new spot, we both are thrilled to have some tasks, a routine and getting to know new people. Being surrounded by a beautiful landscape and some animals would be amazing.

Skills/Experience/somehting that might help

Margarete: adept at drawing, playing the piano (10y+), crafting and building, spinning wool, crochet, knit, but also work with wood, Basic IT skills and more

Christopher: Gardening skills, such as chainsaw handling, pruning trees, basic mechanical skills, basic IT skills and more

Because we are coming from the Countryside and were both raised on a (kind of) farm, we are used to live with different kind of animals and taking care of them, for example chicken, sheeps, cats, dogs, geese, goats, donkeys, horses and more. We know the basics when ist comes to growing vegetables or fruits and taking care of a garden. When it comes to handcrafting we both have some basic skills that might be helpful for you or upcoming projects (using a chainsaw, not chopping off our leg while splitting wood, and more..)

I (Margarete) had a bit of Spanish in school, which helps with communication and understanding. Christopher and me speak German and English fluently. Be both like to do sports like running, cycling and swimming.

Was noch ...

-Its important for us to have a good work balance because we are also curious to explore the region and go on little trips. that doesn't mean we don't want to work, but a max of 5h/5days are the optimum for us. Of course, if there is a lot to do or sometimes a bit more work we are helping! I bet we will find a good option.

- we are together for 5 years now and currently live in the same household, and are used to be with each other for a long period of time.

- we have a car and traveling with it. so: ist important that there is space for it at/near your place. we can therefore move around relatively independently, maybe transport something for you.

-we are traveling with a dog named Taki, so he will always be with us. He is super friendly with humans and every kind of animal, and really easy to take care of and being around the house. You will like him:) (see profile picture).
BUT: he behaves a bit strangely when he meets a new dog (really excited and a bit too brash), but after 5 minutes of getting to know him everything is easy, just that you are aware.
he is a german shepherd dog, so when he is in an enclosure with sheep or goats he tries to herd them.
he has lived with horses for years, so he sometimes tries to play with them (as he is used to doing) but in general is definitely used to be with them on the same enclosure.

-Christopher is training Triathlon, so he probably will do sports every day besides work. Margarete is into running and hiking (but max of 3-4 days per week)
