I'm travelling alone in my camper van and enjoying nature, birding, foraging, finding the best local places to eat and I brought my SUP :)

Beschreibung

I'm interested in nature, conservation and sustainable agriculture and I want to learn as much as I can about these things. I'm also re-organising my life and figuring out where to go from here. So I am looking to learn more about alternative ways to a happy, fulfilling life. And I want to meet new people and have good conversations and new perspectives.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am an ecologist, so I know stuff about animals and plants and habitats and how it all fits together. And I'm in process of learning permaculture and other sustainable agriculture practices. And I love collecting wild herbs for cooking.
The last few years I worked as a conservation breeder which I especially loved because it required understanding the animals behaviour in detail. I also completed a traineeship as a veterinary assistant although I never worked as such, so my experience is limited.
I have worked as an assistant teacher with children aged 10 months to preschool and I taught environmental education classes/seminars to school children and adults.
I was very engaged in climate activism and became quite good at organizing projects and teaching newbies how to civil disobedience.
I enjoy working outside, not afraid to get dirty (although due to covid damage to my lungs, I have become quite sensitive to dust; house dust is fine, its the haystacks and sawdust i need to stay out of, especially if there's mold involved) and I am stronger and more capable of "outdoor man tasks" (not my words) than people expect ;)
My favourite types of work are gardening and caring for animals. I also enjoy cooking and would love to learn how to prepare your traditional dish from you (or your grandma).
