Hi my name is Magdalena (or Maggy as most of my friends call me). 🌸
I grew up in the countryside in a remote Austrian village with a huge garden, pets and neighoburing farms. I helped out in our Bed & Breakfast and worked as a receptionist at the local campsite. Later on I studied and started working already when I was still studying. After one and a half year of hustling I realised that it was just not what made me happy.

Therefore I decided to take a different course which is how I ended up here :)

I'm a very outdoorsy person, I love hiking, swimming and all kinds of other sports and activities. I'm social, energetic and always happy to try new things.

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Enjoy gardening in a ...)

vom Host (Enjoy gardening in a ...) für Workawayer ()

The Workaway experience with Magdalena was great, we got on very well and she helped me a lot with tidying up my land, especially the olive tree branches, after pruning.
She was also very good at cleaning the whole path leading up to my house and keeping it tidy.
On top of that she also removed all the weeds from the path, and she also cleaned up… read more the little path leading up to the outhouse where I keep my tools.
In addition to this we really enjoyed our time together, and they were very nice days, also because she came with me on some activities to discover Gavorrano and the mineral and stone mine that is in front of my farm, in short we shared some very dense days alternating work with fun and entertainment!
Above all, it was great to share the weekend discovering Gavorrano, and then we got on very well together, so I highly recommend this Austrian girl because she is very willing and helpful, above all she is good at gardening and is very polite and friendly!
This workaway experience with Maggy was simply perfect, which is why I highly recommend this Austrian girl if you are looking for a resourceful, smart and respectful person.
Maggy wrote to me with sincerity that she was in a situation where she would gladly come and visit me and help me out for some days, and I really appreciated her sincerity and so we organised and a few days later she came to my farm.
As already mentioned, the stay was about a week (which is the minimum duration, usually), yet Maggy showed me great intelligence and resourcefulness.
Above all, she helped me arrange the olive branches that are on the ground after pruning in June, and it is a very long job that she did with zeal and passion, despite the fact that it was quite sunny.
Above all, I appreciated her maturity, because from day one she was able to work in the garden with a certain amount of autonomy, arranging the branches and cutting the big ones to make the ground around the house tidier.
Besides that, it was very pleasant to talk to her, and we shared some very interesting moments of conversation, so it was a really nice meeting.
Finally, I highly recommend this Austrian girl to anyone who is looking for an enterprising and willing workawayer who can learn fast, listen, and connect deeply with a farm that just needs a bit of work to become a true natural paradise!
Thank you again dear Maggy for all your work, I hope you will be able to come back and give me a hand here at the farm and thus be able to see the evolution of this little fairytale corner, and how this farm is growing also thanks to your help and the seeds that you have planted.
I recommend Magdalena as a workawayer with a high rating, especially for her maturity in being able to tune in respectfully and also lovingly to this farm surrounded by nature and in front of the sea, and for being able to work with dedication for the growth of this happy place. Thank you again dear Magdalena!!
