Beschreibung

Hi, I’m a super outdoorsy nature-loving artist, writer, photographer, ceramicist, and ecologist. I grew up going on outdoor adventures with my family, and my dad is an avid triathlete (an interest he passed on to me). For the last few years I’ve been working as an environmental researcher and conservationist with a big international NGO, along with several side-gigs in pottery, painting, and photography (my other passions). I was born in the United States and grew up there until we moved to London, England for my high school years. I went to university in Montreal, Canada, and since then have lived and worked in Panama, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico. I used to spend summers working on my aunt and uncle’s farm when I was growing up, and lately I’ve been more and more interested in sustainable land use, especially agroforestry, permaculture, agroecology, etc.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I’m fluent in Spanish (and English), and I’ve been trying to learn Arabic lately but it’s slow going. I love speaking pig-Latin for laughs. I’m skilled in all things artsy (ceramics, painting, murals, drawing, handwriting, sign-making, crafts, etc). I’m also a good photographer and writer if you need social media help! I’m great with kids (I was a 6th grade teacher for a year, and I’ve also worked countless summer camps, and grew up babysitting). I’m generally handy, since I picked up a lot of random skills when I was a farm worker, including some wood-working, and how to build green houses and hoop houses, etc. I’m an amateur botanist and love learning new things about plants. I’m a very quick learner in general!
