Beschreibung

I am an easy going adventurer that is always open to new experiences. I am from a small town in Yorkshire, England, and I am keen to explore the many different ways of life. I love the outdoors and working with my hands to make things. My educational background is in science. I finished my master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences in May 2023 and have since worked a short period in animal conservation in the UK before I travelled out to Australia. The majority of my time in Australia has been in, and around Melbourne, where I have worked as a corporate cleaning manager for the Formula 1 but I have spent a good amount of time exploring. I recently completed the Great Ocean Walk. I am new to workaway but nonetheless very excited about the opportunities it provides. I have had nothing but positive experiences with locals here in Australia on my travels and would love to meet new people and share my stories and skills.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I will preface this with the fact I am willing to give anything a go and I am a quick learner. If you show me, I will give it a go. I am a native English speaker with strong maths and science skills. I have mentored science in the past. I have good basic tech skills. I am great at organising and cleaning. I’ve helped with many family projects in the past including concreting, fence building, guttering, flooring, and plenty of general maintenance. I am strong and have a good base level of fitness for manual projects.

Was noch ...

I am passionate about nature and being outdoors. I love animals. We have a family dog back home who I walk a lot when I’m home. I love hiking, especially in a new place to explore what’s there. I also enjoy switching off over a movie or just listening to music.
