Hey, I'm Matija and I come from a special country, Croatia. 😊

I love life above all, spending time with people and spending a lot of time in nature. I have developed a great love for travel, but the only thing I want more is to go on a trip and volunteer, the combination that impresses me the most. Children are especially dear to my heart because I myself come from a large family. 🙌 My family is my greatest love, until I achieve my own. Throughout my life, I realized that family is not only family, but much more than that, my friends, my acquaintances, my relatives who make me an even better and brighter person. 😀 Africa is my dream, which I have been dreaming for about 10 years, the first time I saw volunteers in Africa, I knew that I would be one of them and that I wanted to deepen it in my life. I don't want to come and see just once, I want to live, love, kiss, help, I simply want it as often as I can come. 🙏
Right now, I've taken an indefinite break from work just for this dream, this desire that's been burning inside me for too long and I can't stop putting it off anymore. I want to help, I want to volunteer, I want to love everyone and all of you. 🤍

I have been learning English since I was seven years old and I think I know it well and write well. I would also like to teach others if I can help in any way. Croatian is my mother tongue and I know it perfectly, as well as Bosnian and Serbian, which are very similar. Spanish is a beautiful language for me, but I've only studied it for a year and I know the basics.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I studied electrical engineering and economics. Mostly because I loved math. I am currently employed in construction. An interesting combination of electrical engineering, economics and construction met me in my current permanent job. As for languages, I speak fluent Croatian, English, I attended a Spanish course for a year, and I also understand a little bit of German. As for jobs, I like working with my hands, assembling furniture, disassembling, repairing if I have knowledge in that area. I also worked in nature, mowing grass, various construction jobs, I have no problem doing anything and I like to help in whatever sector it is. I have been involved in sports all my life, and I have been training football since I was five years old (Ronaldinho is my first special player...). I like all sports, sometimes I play tennis, I also played handball and basketball, I like swimming, long-distance cycling and other things. Football is something that was innate to me from birth and has remained as the greatest love of sports.
