Hey, Im Lyly

I'm taking a year off to travel and experience new ways of living.
The idea is to go slow, take time along the way to meet people and discover new places.
I've recently decided to change my lifestyle. This journey will be the opportunity to get some inspiration. I'd like to live more sustainably, see how communities and eco projects manage to blossom..
I have participated in some volunteerings in the past, mostly in farms, woodcrafting, and renovating old houses. I like anything related to handcraft, from plumbering, to setting up a new shower, building a market hall or painting shutters (all projects I have realized).
I tend to go out of my comfort zone, I have this constant need to explore and try out new things, just to grasp how much there is out there. I love being in nature, hiking, swimming, sleeping in a tent and cooking in a tiny pot. I play ukulele and love singing. I'm a big fan of karaoke and boardgames nights as well. I love having a good laugh, sharing nice moments together. People I meet along the way are usually the big highlight of my trips and what give me the motivation to keep going. I never know who I'll meet next, and wouldn't want to miss it.
You might see on my profile that I'm gender neutral. If you're not familiar with it: I identify as non binary and don't relate to being a girl or a guy. It's just the way to describe myself that makes me feel more comfortable. It felt important to explain it, but it is not the center of my life, and there are many other cool things we could share.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I'm really good working in a team, being with people. I've worked few years in the tourism industry, organizing, activities and realizing them with tourists groups. I am quite determined when I start a new project and get involved at a 100%. I'm a quicklearner.
I have been teaching french when I lived in Spain, and would be happy to share the languages I know with you.
As said above, I have some experience in handicraft and building, and would like to deepen it.
