Hey!
My name is Lucien and I'm 27. Since i'm young I love travelling and discover new cultures, new languages.
I have a degree in Anthropology, and now all I want is travelling more, meet new people, learn from them about their culture, their way of living, their work.
In France, I live near the mountains, so I'm hiking a lot. I really like the adventure, crossing country just by walking, confront myself to the unknown and learn about it.
I really love to cook, to share my knowledge, help at house chores, helping people with French or English. I have always be close to nature and animals.
I traveled a lot into Nordic Countries where I was doing some workaways and I really love that. I lived and work in Japan for 1 year in 2023-2024, during this time I did some workaway, but also some restaurant work. In July-August 2024 I complete Shikoku Henro by walking.

I speak French as a Native and English fluently! I'm learning Japanese at the moment and wanna improve my communication and also writting skills. But if you are interested about learning / speaking French or English let me know. It'll be a pleasure to do some communication practice in any of these two languages :).

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I'm a tidy person and love working with my hands, learning new skills and try solving problems without any specific / required tools.
I spent several years working in restaurant, for many goods chefs in Japan / Finland and France. I love cooking and try no recipe everyday with unknow ingredients, travelling is for me the perfect opportunity to try tons of these new elements. But I also being trained as a Maître d'Hotêl (Butler / Head waiter). So it'll be a pleasure for me to spend time in the kitchen to prepare some good food after a day of hard work!
During my previous workaway I did some : Farmwork / Secondhand shop work (cleaning and reusing materials) / Carpentry DIY / Petsitting / Animalcare (with horses and sheep during lambing season). I'm open to anything new, and would love to learn more about your way of working, but also living and thinking in your workaway :).
