I will be staying in Japan for a month from June 28th to July 28th and work as a workawayer for the first two weeks. From July 22nd, I need to go back to Tokyo to attend the Fuji Rock Festival!

Hi, my name is Love. I chose this name because it sounds just like the pronunciation of my Chinese name. I’m currently taking some time off work to study languages and do some self-exploration. I hope to find what I want to commit to along the way, and I'm always ready for a cultural exchange with all kinds of people—even if it turns into a friendly debate! haha.

Having traveled to many countries, I now make it a habit to read up on the books and history of the place I'm heading to next. In my free time, I climb, play badminton and tennis, do yoga, and practice calisthenics. I'm also a huge fan of movies and music. Whenever I travel, I always plan my trips around local music festivals like Fuji Rock or Primavera Sound, and I never miss a chance to catch a film in a local independent theater.

**Activities & Interests and what I'm eager to help with**
- Farm Life: I’m fascinated by rural living and love being around animals. They always bring me a sense of peace, and I’m eager to give that same care and energy back to them.

- Plants and cooking: I’m a dedicated Caudex plant enthusiast, currently caring for 15 different species at my place. I love raising them, writing about them, and I definitely have the patience and enthusiasm needed for gardening. I've also raised 5 kinds of basil and mint in my balcony for cooking, and I'm always eager to learn cuisine from different cultures.

- Charity & Community: I’m drawn to local social projects where I can feel the energy and connection of a community. I previously worked at a neighborhood coffee shop where we actively supported community initiatives like stray cat rescues and music-sharing events.

- Outdoor Adventures: I love hiking and exploring nature to unplug from the internet. And yes, I love getting a good tan!

- Writing & Oulipo: I find beauty in the smallest details of life and love writing about "everything and nothing." I’m a huge fan of Oulipo (Ouvroir de littérature potentielle)—the French literary movement.

- Street Photography: I’m an avid street photographer. My style focuses on the human element and urban life—capturing those fleeting, authentic moments between people and their environment.

**Why Me?**
This is my second time using Workaway, and I know I truly thrive in this lifestyle—working outdoors, home cooking, and having long conversations after dinner.

In my daily life, I handle about 80% of the household chores cook breakfast every day and make dinner from time to time. I'm tidy, efficient, and proactive. I’d love to have intellectual exchanges about Art, Social Sciences, and Anthropology. • Cleaning: In my daily life, I handle 80% of the housework. I’m very organized and have a high standard for cleanliness. I can help with deep cleaning, laundry, and organizing spaces efficiently.
• Culinary: I have a dedicated habit of cooking breakfast every day and I cook dinner from time to time. While I’m not a professional chef, I enjoy the process. I’m happy to help with meal prep or maybe share some authentic Chinese home-style dishes with you.
2. Gardening & Plant Care (Caudex Enthusiast)
• Specialized Knowledge: I am a collector and grower of Caudex plants. I understand the patience and precision required to care for plants.
• General Gardening: I’m comfortable with weeding, watering, pruning, and general garden maintenance. I find working with soil very grounding and rewarding.
3. Animal Care & Manual Labor
• Animal Lover: I’m very comfortable around dogs, cats, and farm animals like sheep and chickens. I’m happy to help with feeding, walking, or cleaning animal enclosures.
