Hey you,

my name is Laura / Lauri, I'm a 27 year young woman who studied social work/psychology for children and teenagers in Germany. As I’m always interested in loads of different things at the same time I also studied philosophy and German literature before.

I would describe myself as a creative being who loves to express herself in different ways. I love to write poems and short novels, painting and drawing, doing pottery and handcrafts, taking photos... Most of the time my heart beats in different directions and sometimes I’m very disappointed that I can’t take every chance in this life as there are so many things I wanna do and learn: For example reading a bange of books, also writing some of them by myself, learning how to play the piano, discovering new places in the outside and inside of me, learning to do a handstand, finding deep friendships in which I feel truly connected, holding space for others and laughing more than doubting. But in the end I’m convinced that I can never be on the wrong path as long as I’m listing to my heart and the sound of life. :)

If you don’t find myself somewhere in the kitchen as I love cooking, baking and preparing delicious and healthy food for myself and others (that’s why I also used to work in a café back home :) ), you’ll probably find myself somewhere in nature. I’m in love with long (silent) walks, the feeling of the warm morning or evening sun in my face, crystal clear lakes, the sound of the oceans voice, the mystic vibes in a forest or hunting for shooting stars. Being in nature helps me to feel more present and grounded within myself and in my environment instead of feeling stressed and hectic in my everyday life. My interests in meditation and yoga are also helpful ways to get rooted into this balance.
Besides of my longing for silence and self-discovery I’m deeply interested in other human beings and different lifestyles - that’s why I like to get connected with others. I love sharing and listing to stories and having long conversations about life and everything what moves our human hearts.

I’m not sure if that’s enough for a first impression but hopefully it’s enough to get in contact - I'm much looking forward to hear from you :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I’m willing to share my knowledge and I'm more than curious to learn new things, no matter if it’s about manual work, gardening and herbalism, permaculture, taking care of animals or trying out new recipes. I’m definitely able to work independently and also together as a team, but always responsibly.

In previous workaways I did a lot of gardening (planting, maintaining, harvesting), caretaking of animals, babysitting, cleaning, organizing, cooking and some renovations.
