Hi, I'm Lisanne! 23-year-old girl from Estonia holding a bachelor's degree in biology. I'm taking a year off from university studies to fulfil the dreams I have always had - to experience a lifestyle close to nature as much as possible. I would like to get inspired and learn about farming, traditional building and sustainable ways of living in order to do it myself when I’ll buy my own place in the future. So therefore I’m looking for to help at farms, gardening, DIY projects, building traditional activities.
In my free time one can find me hiking, growing plants, discussing endlessly about life/psychology, ice swimming, dancing Lindy hop, doing yoga, picking wild plants and mushrooms, cooking, knitting.
I am an adventurous and curious person. I like to seek for things that are different - I believe they broaden my view on the world a lot. That's why I'm also travelling. One special chapter in my life was to live in the harsh, but extremely beautiful Arctic environment - in Svalbard.
I'm on workaway to experience the world in a more meaningful and immersive way.

Gardening: planting, watering, harvesting, picking seeds, weeding.
Mowing hay with scythe, building raised beds, woodwork. These experiences I have got from working in a company selling seeds of meadow plants and volunteering in different permaculture gardens at my home town and through Workaway.
I like to keep things tidy and organised - I have lived alone for seven years so I'm used to taking care of the home.
I have worled as a help cook in a middle eastern food catering and as a teacher in youth science camps.
