Hi ! I'm Lisa, I quit my job in France to start a new professional path, and before that I'm taking a long break to step back from my daily life and to experience new activities and to gain new skills. For the past 10 years, I've been living abroad (for work), traveling, but settled back in France recently. I'm so enthusiastic about traveling again!

I think the most enriching way to travel a country is to meet its people and culture, as well as gatting access to unusual locations. Volunteering and living with locals is for me a good way to slow-travel and discover things from a different perspective.

I love being outdoors and I'm very happy when it comes to nature and manual activities. All my previous volunteering experiences (in France, Australia, New Zealand) were great opportunities to learn new skills, and I'm very interested to learn some more!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I love being outdoors and I'm happy when it comes to manual activities. I grew up in the countryside of France and I used to help my family, and nowadays I mostly help my friends. Mostly on these tasks :

- gardening,
- repairing/restoring furniture,
- interior renovation,
- cooking,
- taking care of a house, ...
I'm not a professional so I still need some supervision and advice to start a task !

I'm a positive person, active, helpful, and I like things done well. I'm very motivated to learn more skills, and that's actually one of my travel intention.

As hobbies :
I often hike in the mountains, and organize hiking trips with self-sufficiency for several days.
I'm interested in herbal and traditional medicine, social/politics debates, alternative living...

Also I've been working for the last 7 years in sustainable tourism, as a project manager (mostly based in France, Carribean and South East Asia). I worked as well in few restaurants and hotels as a waitress and welcoming agent.

Was noch ...

I like to keep places tidy and clean. I'm very respectful of others, I always lived in shared-apartment with roomates, for years, and love it !
