Hey!
I am Lisa, 24 years old and in March, I finished my studies to be a nurse.

There’s probably nothing that brings me as much joy as hiking in the mountains, as I am very adventurous and love being in nature and the mountains just give me a certain kind of peace🦙
But on the other hand I also really enjoy long walks with my friends where we just talk about everything and nothing and have a lot of laughs.
I would describe myself as very caring, humorous, anmbitious and a good listener.
I am also a very honest person who loves to meet new people.
Plus, I am a big foodie and a good meal just brings me endless joy 😍

What motivates me work-wise is knowing that I can actually have a positive impact on people’s days and put a smile on their faces but also knowing that my work is somehow important for society.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I really enjoy working with people.
I worked as a waitress on weekends (during school ) for 3 years which taught me to be patient, kind and attentive.
Before going to nursing school, I volunteered at the hospital's Stroke Unit for 1 year and I really loved it as I got to support people’s resources, listen to their stories and help them as good as I could, which was great fun!
Through my work as a nurse I am very empathetic, caring and always open to learn new things and skills.
I would describe myself as a quick learner.

Every now and then I used to help out my grandma around the house, especially including cleaning and garden work, such as cutting branches, planting new vegetables or watering the plants. That kind of work I really enjoyed and working outside was always very calming.

I have also had several summer jobs including packing articles as well as unboxing or sorting products, so I’d say I am flexible and always open for new challenges!

Also, I am very good with animals and I enjoy caring for them, so I would love helping out with farm animals.

In general, I am open to various kinds of work and I am excited to get to know the authentic South American life and culture through volunteering :) I can't wait to work for and with you and get to know you!
