Beschreibung

Sono una bibliotecaria, laureata in Lettere Moderne. Amo il mio lavoro e stare a contatto con le persone, ascoltare le loro storie.
Sono socievole, e grazie alla mia professione ho imparato a sviluppare molta pazienza, anche con bambini e bambine urlanti o con lettori e lettrici "maturi/e" che non sono mai contenti dei libri consigliati!

Amo viaggiare e scoprire il mondo, amo la musica e la letteratura, mangiare tanto buon cibo, la vicinanza delle amiche e degli amici a cui voglio bene e stare intorno a chi ancora non conosco ma a cui vorrò bene.
Sono nata e cresciuta in Toscana, in una cittadina vicino a Firenze, ma vivo e lavoro a Milano da ormai più di dieci anni.

Sono fortemente interessata ai diritti delle donne e alle pari opportunità, in passato ho fatto volontariato in questi due ambiti e in un centro antiviolenza. Ho anche svolto attività di volontariato in un'associazione che gestisce un'unità di strada per aiutare persone che si prostituiscono (riduzione del danno).


I'm a librarian, with a degree in modern literature. I love my job very much and I love to stay in touch with people and listen to the stories that everyone brings to me.
I'm a sociable person and from my work in different libraries I've learned how to increase my patience, even with screaming kids or old readers that are never happy with the books I suggest!

I love to travel and to discover the world, I love music and literature, eating a lot of good food, staying with the friends I love and being around people that I don't know yet but that I'll love.
I was born and rise in Tuscany, not so far from Florence, but I've been living and work in Milan for more then ten years.

I'm strongly interested in women's rights and equal opportunities, and in the past I volunteered in these fields and in a centre against domestic violence. I also volunteered in an association that has a street unit service for prostitutes (harm reduction).

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Penso (e spero) di avere capacità relazionali e comunicative molto buone. Sono anche una persona pratica, pragmatica, e mi piace "sporcarmi le mani" e mettermi alla prova in nuovi luoghi e in nuove esperienze.
Quando termino di lavorare e mi rilasso so essere molto pigra, ma quando lavoro lo faccio intensamente e con cura (è sempre strano e soggettivo parlare bene di se stessi).
Nell'ultimo anno ho tenuto alcuni laboratori sul libro e sulla lettura con diverse classi di studenti e ho fatto delle letture per bambini in biblioteca.
Ho esperienza in lavori di front office.

I think (and I hope) I have very good interpersonal and communication skills. I'm also a practical person, I like to "get my hands dirty" and to test myself in new places and new experiences. When I'm relaxing and taking a break I can be very lazy, but when I work, I work hard and with care (it's always strange and subjective when we say something good about ourself).
In the last year I've done some reading workshops with classes of students and some public readings for the kids in the library.
I have experience in front office jobs.

Was noch ...

Ciò che mi auguro riguardo alla mia esperienza con Workaway è di imparare più che posso, diventare una persona migliore e condividere le mie esperienze di vita, aiutando coloro che mi ospiteranno in tutto ciò di cui avranno bisogno.
Vorrei che mi faceste condividere con voi un piccolo pezzo di vita, sarò una volontaria seria e onesta.

The thing that I wish from a Workaway experience is to learn as much as I can, become a better person and share with life experiences, helping the hosts in everything they need.
