Ich bin gerade

Beschreibung

I am living in Vienna and have recently finished my Master's studies in Clinical and Health Psychology.

Due to University, my head is usually overworked, but my hands aren't. Workaway is a good opportunity for me to get met hands dirty and I enjoy the change. I have worked for five different workaway hosts up until today and have loved to work for every single one of them. I'm not a carpenter, certified construction worker or any of that, but I do like to learn new things and have spent most of my recent summers working with my dad who is an engineer/farmer/everything.
I consider myself as reliable and responsible and enjoy working outside. I can manage without internet for quite some time and don't mind more basic accommodations. I do like to be social and have enjoyed staying at busy places, but I do need my alone time as well, and can also do the "you're on your own" thing very well :)

I'm pretty much into any outdoor activities, such as skiing and mountain biking. I am a middle class, but motivated hiker. When not outdoors I enjoy reading and listening to music. I am interested in politics and philosophy and if I'd have to choose, I would most of the time pick those topics over small talk (which doesn't mean that I don't fully enjoy talking about nonsense from time to time). I'm looking forward to meet you!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Growing up at a vineyard I'm used to working outside and do work such as General Maintenance and Gardening/Farming. This means that even though I'm certainly no handywoman that knows how to use every single tool in this world, I am used to physical labour and do enjoy it.

In Canada I worked for several workaway hosts, most of it was construction or garden work, but as well some guest services such as helping with check-ins, housekeeping (on a campground as well as a BnB). Most of them where in very remote places, that got me used to compost toilets and limited access to a shower or internet.

Also there is the psychology degree, but up until know it hasn't helped me build a mural, so I guess this is more of an off-work skill in this context.

  I usually eat vegan, but try not to be to fussy. I'd definitely would want to avoid eating meat, but if vegan is not possible I'm fine with vegetarian food.
