Beschreibung

I am a belgian woman, born in 1999 and graduated my master in biology in july 2022. I have a passion for nature, being outdoors and connecting to people and learning from them. I love combining workaways with backpacking. This a great way for me to take a break and come back to myself in between working and making money.

My first solo travel was right after my studies in Peru and ended up lasting for 3 months. There, I did my first workaway in the amazon jungle and also did my first solo backpacking trip. It was amazing to meet to many great people in hostels and using my basic spanish to connect to locals. Since then, I have travelled by workaways and backpacking in Spain, Morocco, Czech Republic, Poland, ... Looking forward to do more slow travelling and connecting with different people :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I like working outdoors, I have volunteered in a zoo in Huancayo, Peru and also had the amazing experience of volunteering 3 weeks in the Amazon jungle, where I learned a lot! Also at home in Belgium I have done a student job with a nature conservation company where I had to dig out small exotic trees and shrubs that were harming the environment. I also have a small greenhouse at home where we grow some vegetables. In Spain I did a workaway at a goat farm with gardening and stone laying.

Other student jobs I have done are giving tennis lessons and sports games to small children, I did this for 5 years during summer. I also worked as a supervisor at a touristic lake for 2 months, selling tickets, cleaning and selling drinks. I have also taught some yoga classes to friends of friends.

Was noch ...

I love walking, doing yoga, and most other sports. I have played soccer, tennis, padel, volleybal and surf a little. I love meeting international people and learning from them and about them. I can also enjoy a good relax session, like taking a nap or reading a good book :) I am all for open communication and learning new things.
