Hellooo everyone :) !

Let me introduce myself, I’m Doriane, 32. Breton 100% pure butter but with a good share of Bordeaux canelés too, since I lived there for 10 years. After all this time spent near the Garonne, I now have a taste for change and adventure!

Regarding my character, my personality, I like calm and contemplation (walking alone, marveling at the beauty of nature, old buildings, reading a book with soft music in the background...); but also laughing, discovering different life paths from mine, festive universes.
Either way, I always have a positive outlook on things in the world. The little or big hassles of life challenge us and allow us to learn new skills, new facets of ourselves. And later, most of these adventures will make anecdotes that we can laugh about! :)

Very curious at heart, I always like to learn about the world around me. Latest passion to date: the past ! the history of the cities in which I have lived, architecture and painting.
Otherwise, my biggest passions are : music, dancing and reading!
I was part of Ecstatic Dance in Bordeaux, workshops where you can dance completely freely, like in your room, no need for special skills ^^! So yeah, music and moving my body is veeeery important for me (I hope you like music too, cause I can't live without it haha). I’m also quite new to pilates and yoga, so if you have some notions, you’ll can teach me hehe (maybe I will bring my mat)

As for books, I have a little collection of recipe books (although I'm not the greatest cook of the world, I love trying new recipes and please people ^^) and I read a lot on the subject of sexuality, relationships, feminism. If you have a library, I will surely snoop around to find new words to devour :D.

What I am particularly looking for in a Workaway experience :
- living in community : although on a daily basis I am more of a solitary person... I also love people and I want to push my limits, explore the crazy and fun adventure of living in a group of inspiring people !
- discovering people from whom I can learn new things, enrich myself with new thoughts. Life is made to grow, let’s seize all the opportunities :)
- be part of a project that makes sense to me, that has a social / cultural impact. If we can make the world a better place, I wanna be a part of it, even if it’s only for a short period of time !

For several years now, I have loved cooking! I did a 2-week internship in a restaurant (Resto&Cie, organic cuisine and plate by weight) and I would like to continue exploring this universe even more.

I worked as a home helper, so everything related to cleaning, personal assistance, I manage.

I was a member of Ecstatic Dance (cultural association): reception of participants during workshops, communication of events on the Facebook page, team reflection on strategies to adopt, creation of DJset...

For temporary assignments I harvested tomatoes, shallots and kiwis from my parents :3

For the renovation of an apartment, I gave a hand! Remove the tiles, strip the wallpaper, sand and paint the walls...
