Hi there !

I'm Léa from Europe,
I have been exploring and learning around the world for 7 years now, while either studying, working, volunteering or "just traveling". I discovered many places, cultures, and people(s) on the way.

What I love the most is to experience cultural differences. I love seeing nice places of course but the main reason I travel is to meet people and share experiences. That's why I like to go alone, I love hitchhiking and leave room for the "unplanned plans" to happen.
I am always craving to learn new things and I love to take the time to be involved in the daily life of my hosts. We have so much to learn from each other.

Official home is France (région Bourgogne) but I lived in different countries such as England, the Netherlands, Aotearoa, Norway and more recently Brazil and the DR of Congo.
And because I am always moving and doing something different, I am a quick learner, super adaptable to new environments and RESILIENT :).

I love cows. And I am passionate about ecology and wildlife conservation.
I am hard working, used to get my hands dirty, very curious and ambitious.
I now have a strong interest to discover more about plants. How they grow, what we can eat, how some can be used for healing, etc.
But I am excited to discover and learn about pretty much everything! (for example construction, building in general, how to handcraft musical instruments, how to contribute to women's empowerment, etc, many interests I have!).

I respect people as such and believe this society is lacking kindness and tolerance.
I hope to be a great help for you, discover new ways of living and exchange on our cultures / languages!

PS: I am physically fit and enthusiastic about the work even in hard conditions (extreme weather, rough terrain, heavy stuffs, etc.). I can do everything, but please know that I find myself very anxious when cooking for others. I satisfy myself with very basic food but I am not comfortable with you tasting it. I am more than happy to do the dishes though.. :)

HOW I CAN HELP.

FARMING:
• Used to work with farm animals (mainly dairy cattle but also suckler, goat, sheep, pigs and poultry)
• Milking (herring bone/rotary/by hands),
• Basic health treatment on cows and calves,
• Mastitis detection and health issue
• Calves management,
• Handling cattle/animals,
• Tractors driving and 4 wheels/quad bike
• Harvest plants such as grapes, açaí and cacao

WILDLIFE ECOLOGY:
• Able to do spatial mapping using GIS
• Knowledge of ecology principles
• Aware of human dimensions in the ecosystems
• Knowledge in wildlife and primates conservation

EVERYTHING ELSE:
• Caring of dogs/cats/any pet
• Can teach French and English
• Look after the kids
• House cleaning
• Any other house chores (but not cooking for others..)
• Gardening
• Basic construction skills but happy to learn more
• I do have my driving license and can drive both manual and automatic. And I can drive a 4 wheels quad bike as well
