Hello there!

I’m Lucia, better known as Lula :), a sociable and curious person who likes being in contact with nature, meeting people, exploring new cultures, and knowing a little bit about everything.

Europe has been my second home since 2020, I've already visited over 40 countries in the world, and I can share tons of stories about this semi-nomadic life that I have started since then (pandemic anecdotes included XD).

To achieve our goals, I believe it's necessary to move and do; that’s why I’ve started traveling, changing my lifestyle, and expanding my horizons. In addition, I think every problem has a solution, and seeing life in a positive way is the key. So here I am, going for it!

As an enterprising and inquisitive person, I believe knowledge is a powerful and fundamental tool. That's why I enjoy sharing my knowledge and learning from others. Learning by doing and exchanging ideas is really interesting for me, as is participating in collaborative and collective activities (synergy is above all!).

I am embarking on a path that I do not know where it will lead me, but I am sure it will take me to unforgettable places and experiences!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

This journey has been a crazy adventure of gaining knowledge and learning from others. I’ve done things such:

-Construction: I already have some basic skills in this area, as plaster and painting. I had once an old destroyed house which I made the renovation, and I've done some walls renovations and painting. I’ve learnt eco-construction in some volunteering and helping friends with their projects, gaining knowledge to use many tools and techniques. I've also done some works with wood, like helping to build a sauna, a dining room, a deck, isolation works, among others.

- Farming, gardening, permaculture: my last volunteerings were helping in permaculture projects. I feel I've learned pretty much from my hosts, I'm so grateful to them, and I'd be happy to continue learning in this field. I also have some knowledge of agriculture and classical gardening. My home town is located in the countryside, and me and my family had vegetable garden, and animals such dogs, cats, hens, chickens, horses, and others. Besides, I went one year to an agricultural school.

-Housekeeping and cleaning: It’s been one of the fields that I’ve gained the most experience, from working as independent cleaner in some buildings in Switzerland and some hostels in many other countries, to have worked professionally in 5-star hotels (in Budapest and in the mountains in Sweden during the Nordic winter for example).

-Others: I helped a politician in Switzerland with his marketing campaign in local elections XD, did waitressing jobs, babysitting, helped with some artistic projects...

And last but not least, my professional background has always been related with customer service, sales, commercial, couching, and marketing. Even if I quit to this life, I'd be happy to help if it's needed on digital marketing and social media; I'm not expert in the field, but I can contribute with some knowledge and ideas.

Was noch ...

Organic farming, permaculture and eco-construction are part of the fields that I’m interested to keep learning about. I’m also open to others areas as ecology, circular economy, zero waste, sustainability, feminism, healthy eating, art, crafts, philosophy, and many others!

I love cooking vegetarian / vegan meals, and I always like learning new recipes.

I also like doing sportive activities, as trekking, hiking, cycling, and others. What I like the most is riding a bicycle, for me it symbolizes freedom and movement. I think it is a great and versatile companion. At the same time, I am a yoga pratitioner and I'm learning calisthenics. I've also been in contact for a few months with the capoeira culture and martial arts.

On another note, I really like music and dancing; I don't know how to play any instrument specifically, but I'm always motivated to learn and share, and why not, to play in a rustic way XD.

Although I am a lover of nature and green spaces, I also enjoy city activities. I feel connected to the cultural scene, going to Museum, meeting people, going to drink something, trying new food, and visiting small cities and finding hidden wonders, as well.
