Hey workawayers and dear hosts !

I'm Laurie from France. I'm currently in Mexico and wanna travel around this beautiful country and discover the culture as much as I can.
I got my Master degree 2 years ago in France and after that I wanted to travel.
I already did volunteer works in Australia, thanks to that I could improve my english and met a lot of amazing people and learned from them.

I'm an open-minded and positive girl. I'm also very curious so I always want to try new experiences and setting new challenges, and off course I wanna share my culture and my story.
I'm an ocean lover. I grew up in a city by the sea side, it's such a big part of my life. I practice Kayak, snorkeling, paddling, wakeboard and I'm learning surfing. I definitely wanna try kitesurfing.

I learned Spanish at school but I wanna improve my speaking skills.
So I'm ready to be a workawayer ! I can't wait to work with you and meet new people !

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have a master degree with speciality finance. I worked in finance during 2 years in France.
Then I spent one year in Australia working in a lot of different works.
First I worked in a Kitchen as kitchen hand. I really enjoyed learning about new ingredients and other recipes. It was extremely intense but I liked it.
After I worked in a lime farm packing and selling limes in a shed. I had to be very energetic and fast all day long, I really enjoyed it.
Then I did a volunteer job in a Ranch in the Australian outback. I was helping for cooking, cleaning, feeding and taking care of the animals (horses, buffalos, dogs, pigs, goats ...), welcoming the guest, taking part of the show every day. It was amazing
Then a work as a waitress and bartender in a restaurant.
After my travel in Australia I did a winter season in the French Alpes. I was working as an Housekeeper in a luxury hotel. The costumers were very demanding about the cleaning. So I learned to be very efficient.

Was noch ...

I really into sports but I also like relax and meditate.
I used to practice Yoga during my travel.

I like making abstract painting during the rainy afternoons ans cultivate my own vegetables.


I strongly believe that we all have something to learn from each other ! :)
