Hi! My name is Laurie, I'm 19 years old and I'm from Canada. This summer I'm planning to travel for one month in South Korea and I would love to experience the country in a more local way. This will be my first time travelling alone , so I'm a bit nervous but also very excited. I see it as a great opportunity to get out of my comfort zone, meet new people and learn about a different culture and language.
I enjoy learning languages, even if I don't master them perfectly. I currently speak French and English and I also understand Spanish. I think languages are a great way to connect with people from different places. I also love discovering food and trying new dishes. In my free time, I love listening to music, I like photography and taking pictures and I really enjoy dancing because it always puts me in a good mood.

I have around three years of experience working in a restaurant where I worked as a hostess and also helped serve food. Because of that, I'm comfortable interacting with customers, welcoming guests and working in a team.
I also enjoy cooking, especially baking and making desserts. I like to learn new recipes.
I speak French and English fluently and I also understand Spanish, which helps me communicate with people.
I'm someone who learns quickly and adapts easily to new environments. I'm open-minded, positive and always curious to learn new things.

I love any types of board games, it can be hard, simple, funny or for knowledge. I love to travel, so if I have the possibilities to explore multiple place in Korea, I would love to!
