Hi there!

I’m Laure-Marine, a passionate adventurer, ocean lover, and sustainability enthusiast. Growing up in a small coastal village with limited resources instilled in me a deep appreciation for nature and simple living. I’m happiest when I’m exploring new places, meeting like-minded people, and contributing to meaningful projects that align with my love for the environment and community.

With experience in hospitality, yoga teaching, marine conservation, and living in remote locations, I thrive on new challenges and the opportunity to learn and grow while giving back. We’re Laure-Marine and Oskar, a dynamic and adventurous couple who love exploring new cultures, connecting with people, and contributing our skills wherever we go. Between us, we bring a wide range of expertise and abilities that make us versatile, dependable, and enthusiastic Workawayers.

We both have professional housekeeping experience in high-end hospitality, including managing multiple luxury properties, with skills in daily cleaning, deep cleans, and attention to detail. Growing up in different cultures—Laure-Marine in Tunisia and France and Oskar in Poland—we are fluent in several languages, including English, French, Polish, and conversational Italian and Spanish, giving us a natural ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.

Laure-Marine is a certified lifeguard and yoga teacher, with first aid and CPR training, while Oskar is also certified in first aid and CPR, making us safety-conscious and prepared for any situation. We have both babysat extensively, as governesses and older siblings in big families, where caring for younger children, taking them to the beach, and keeping them entertained has been second nature.

We are skilled cooks with a passion for Mediterranean and Italian cuisine, blending our cultural influences to create wholesome, delicious meals. In addition to our love of travel and adventure, we share a deep appreciation for nature, the oceans, and astronomy, and we enjoy sharing our knowledge with others. As avid history enthusiasts, we love exploring new places and learning about their cultural heritage.

Finally, our computer and administrative skills, coupled with a collaborative and hard-working mindset, make us adaptable to a variety of tasks and projects. We are eager to bring our energy, curiosity, and dedication to any opportunity, while continuing to learn and grow from the experiences we encounter.
