Hi there,

my name is Larissa and I'm 30 years old. Currently I'm living in Dresden where I recently finished my master's degree in social theories (philosophy, politics, history, sociology). At the moment I'm at a point of my life where I feel like a lot is changing for me. That's why I want to to travel: I want to get an outside perspective and I want to experience how other people live their lifes. For me a very important part of traveling is to move around respectfully. That means that I don't want to consume people, animals and nature and make them a tool to individually feel better. I think the collective dimension of traveling is what can make it very meaningful.

I just got back from 3,5 months of traveling in British Culumbia (Canada) where I made my first workaway experiences. Most of the time I was gardening, taking care of animals or helped around the house. It was the best way of traveling for me and I feel grateful for all the people I've met and places I've been to.

General things about myself: I'm interested in philophy, art, my friends, social justice and spirituality. Although I currently live in the city, I prefer the quietness of the nature. I love being around animals and plants. I'm making electronic ambient music and play live sets with synthesizers. I think I'm a creative, open-minded and funny person. I feel comfortable in all kind of settings and with different people but I'm also very sensitive and need time and space alone to regenerate and process.
