I’m travelling Australia to gain different experiences ,meet new people and explore the country.

I started off backpacking the east coast but soon realised it’s not for me as I’m looking for more of a local experience.

I am a lover of the outdoors and enjoy the small town lifestyle as I am originally from one .At home I have always enjoyed working on farms and feel as if I thrive there. I am definitely not afraid of hard work or to get my hands dirty .I love working with horses . That’s what I have the most experience in .

I like to think of myself as a positive and friendly person who likes to be busy. I enjoy being sociable , meeting new people .I am into my sports ,running in particular as I find it very enjoyable and rewarding.

I also have experience working with children so could be a good fit living with a family .

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have collected a range of skills through my previous employments in England .

I have worked for 4 years at a activity centre in the Lake District ,north England ,mainly working with horses , leading horse trecks with a wide range of clients ,from small children to people who have retired .some of them could ride but most where complete beginners so my job was to make them feel safe and comfortable whilst they where on their horse whilst teaching them to ride as we treck through the hills around the farm .

Whilst I was at the farm I also did lots of stable work acting as a groom for over 60 horses which was very full on but rewarding.I am used to working with many different breeds of horses from shetlands to sport horses/thoroughbreds ,youngsters to the old retired horses I cared for all of them quite often on my own .

I am also a competent rider and would ride most days for a couple hours ,and did lots of ground work with them as well ie. Lungeing ,backing youngsters and teaching the horses ground manners .

I also used to have to cater for large groups at the farm ,clean the holiday cottages on occasion ,look after the working dogs ,help with the sheep during lambing and sheering , doing bar work in the wedding venue,and I am used to driving large cars and quad bikes /side by sides with trailers or heavy loads .so it has given me a very around experience.

I am used to long hours as long as the job is rewarding but I definitely enjoy working with the animals the most .

My 2 nd employment has been at a restaurant/bar in a busy town .i was there for 3 years and loved it ,i was competent in bar work ,and am coffee trained .Also in front of house work Wich I enjoyed the most as I loved the busy atmosphere and having to think about a hundred things at once I found the work exiting and very social ,I was also a pot wash and food runner .

My third employment was at a bike shop ,my job was to run the shop floor making sales and talking to people about the products , send hire bikes out and teach people how to use the e bikes and also doing any simple mechanics on the hire bikes and making sure they where in good condition .wich was very fun and meant I worked with lots of different people of all ages and personalities.

I am bery into my fitness enjoy running and going on hikes ,I used to play a lot of rugby aswell.
