Hello my name is André, I am 30 years old and very keen on sports. I play football in my free time, go to the gym and go running. When it comes up, I play spikeball and padel tennis with great passion. I also like to try out new things, such as Muay Thai or I am gaining my first experiences in the field of yoga. My preference for sports is also reflected in my professional career. I completed my Bachelor's degree in the dual system in sports management at a football club (Rot-Weiss Essen). There, in addition to my administrative duties, I worked as a trainer in the youth development centre. Most recently, I was active as a talent scout. I started my Master's degree away from sport and studied controlling, economics and international management. My plan was to combine business with sport and I had planned a semester abroad in China to work there as a football coach at the same time. My interest in China started with a thesis on the state programme football in China. Two years ago, I started learning Mandarin because of that. Unfortunately, the pandemic threw a spanner in the works. Beyond that, my curiosity sets me apart. I want to learn, experience and get to know as much as I can. I am a very open-minded person. I regularly go to the Buddhist centre and read books on various topics. Now I want to satisfy my thirst for knowledge, learn something new, improve my language skills and get to know the Costa Rican culture better.

Working with children gives me great pleasure, offering them fun and developing them. Furthermore, I dare to balance the material world in business with my interest in spiritual and alternative thinking. With a work adventure here in Costa Rica, I would like to find out more about myself and expand and get to know my skills that have not been exhausted so far. I think I have a quick grasp and can apply new things after a short training period.

I hope I will find an exciting job here in Costa Rica!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Due to my studies, I have good qualifications for administrative tasks. My skills range from doing organisational things, financial mathematics to marketing. I have also worked in direct customer contact for a longer period of time. Furthermore, I have experience in the editorial field. Through my work as a youth coach, I am used to dealing with children.
However, I would also say that I have a good grasp of things and can quickly do things on my own after a short period of training.
I am very interested in learning things that go beyond my current horizon.
