Hi. I am an adventurer and have done numerous jobs including : Army medic, Back packer Tour operator and guide in Australia's Outback, an English teacher in Guatemala for 7 months, Cambodia for 2 years,China 4 years and Sri Lanka for 10 months.I went back to Sri Lanka again and came up with an idea to help a family to build a small business that provided camping huts and facilities. Google: "Homestay Camping Anuradhapura Sri Lanka" to see the results. I am also a kite maker and travel to schools and teach kite making, in remote areas of Australia . For fun I have a sailing kayak (Hobie Island) and sail to uninhabited islands where I camp for up to 3 weeks. I volunteer for BlazeAid, helping farmers rebuild fences and buildings after major natural disaster.

My main aim for joining workaway is to experience the life style and culture of the places I visit and to share mine. I prefer to stay for at least 3 weeks in any one place so I can get to make friends and understand the culture.

I had a wonderful experience and would recommend to all. It was amazing the children are incredable and I love them all.My host family Ramanee and Udaya are like brother and sister to me and will always have a special place in my heart. This was only my second workaway and I learnt a lot. I am looking forward to my next.
