Hello!

I'm a 38 years young, I was born and raised in Connecticut, and I work as a freelance filmmaker and narrative director based in CT and New York City.

I always loved to travel, but my filmmaking career has demanded a busy schedule in the last few years. However, after staring at screens and cameras all day, I've been meaning to make more time for myself to travel and gain new adventures/experiences/perspectives.

I also love to draw and paint animals and scenic landscapes, I carry paints, pencils and a pad wherever I go. And I like to make art for my friends! I consider myself an artist with a fertile imagination, lots of curiosity and urge to experiment with different mediums and styles.

I consider myself shy and quiet but fun-loving, easy to get along with, enthusiastic and considerate person with a strong curiosity to explore and a thirst for knowledge. I was an irreverent and goofy sense of humor and I deeply appreciate honesty. I enjoy exploring the outdoors, immersing myself in different cultures and meeting new people--especially from different backgrounds/ walks of life.

This year, I started skiing and I love to hike, but I've always wanted to learn kayaking, surfing, anything fun and physically active. As far as work goes I'm open to doing things I've never tried before such as building things, gardening , working on a farm, and caring for animals. I'm also really great with kids!

I do like to bring my cameras and document my adventures through video and photos-- but not 24/7, I maintain a healthy balance of using my camera and being present in the moment!

I also work as a freelance shooter and editor for promotional videos. In my spare time I like to draw and paint, I've done it off and on since I was 2, but started taking it seriously starting last year.

When I got started in the film industry I've worked mainly on film sets as a production assistant and member of the light crew. lugging heavy lights, wrangling electrical cable, I also worked as a driver giving actors rides to set.

I'm very good with kids, I worked as a math tutor and and a teacher's assistant for an after school art program for children.

I don't have much experience outside of working on film sets but I'm open to learning to skillsets which is why I signed up for workaway.

Was noch ...

I started skiing the beginning of this year. I enjoy reading all types of literature, but mainly biographies, science fiction, and literary classics.

I love going to the beach and I enjoy surfing and snorkeling. I have a fascination with the ocean and the wildlife.and love to read about it.

I want to get more into astronomy

I love to play Pictionary, Scrabble, Bananagrams, Cards Against Humanity, the list goes on. I'm open to playing any board games.
