Beschreibung

A brief introduction to my current life situation. I am a qualified Spanish and Geography teacher for secondary school, but have decided to take a gap year. So I set off in July with my bike (one of my passions!) and tent for three months, traveling from Austria across the Balkans, through Turkey to Georgia. A journey that I can hardly put into words, wonderful. I've been in Chile since January, until the end of March - then I'll be traveling to Argentina for three months.

I'm a very open-minded, fun-loving person, I'm almost always in a good mood and I love being out in nature. I also appreciate a deep, honest exchange with other people. I feel happiest and "lightest" with few (material) things, and I am known among my friends for my minimalism and frugality.

I travel and spend time in other countries to learn and understand. And also to find my own way (through this - in conversations (?)), to think about my life - where do I want to go? How do I want to live?

By participating in workaway projects, I hope to do just that - connect with people, take on a meaningful task and learn something new, that makes me grow.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I studied Spanish and Geography to become a teacher at University and already worked 5 years in school. I also have experience in teaching my mother tongue, german - I did it for 8 month in Gran Canaria in schools. I love to be with Kids and teenagers, I always worked as a Babysitter during my studies - and also as a Barkeeper (sometimes I miss that Job!).
I can fix (lthough not all - but I am interested in) bikes and in general, I am skilled and interested in many things (as long as I receive instructions ;-)) - for example in doing construction stuff (I helped my parents with the roofing and my sister with the house construction) or gardening.
Once I did a huge graffity.
That's what I've studied/done - I would like to expand this list or deepen my skills in areas where I don't yet have much experience with participating in a workaway project.

Interested in general intercultural exchange; I love hiking and I like cooking; my favourite game at the moment is exploding kittens!
