Beschreibung

Hi there! My name is Tarek, I am a 20-year-old who was born in a charming small village surrounded by forests and fields. Growing up with my three siblings and 7 huskies, I developed a deep appreciation for nature and animals of every kind.
While our Husky pack sadly passed away by now, I take every opportunity to dog sit for my friends, when they are on vacation for days or even weeks. I live in a small lovely flat in a city just one hour away from Berlin. In July I’m going to give up my apartment for a trip around the world. I want to experience the beauty and diversity of this earth. I love to explore new destinations and I aim to discover nature, cities, culture and meet new people from all around the world.
One thing that brings me a lot of happiness is sports. I’m really into skating, volleyball, basketball, a little weightlifting and cycling. I also like to edit pictures (not as much as taking them :D), go hiking and I’m quite talented when it comes to woodwork or crafts. I’m able to keep a clean household and I have a few specialties to cook and bake in my pocket.
I’m exited to join the Workaway community to further my travel experiences and connect with people from different backgrounds. I’m passionate about learning new things, helping others and making meaningful connections along the way.

I grew up with a carpenter dad, giving me a solid foundation in basic woodwork. Additionally, I have experience in photo editing, gardening, animal care, cleaning, and working with children. I'm also technologically inclined and always eager to expand my skills.
