Hi there!
where should i start, let say i was born in beautiful central European country called Czech republic. I will gladly get to know you about my culture. My study took some tome because I love travelling, already spend about 2 years abroad (Croatia, UK, Slovenia, Portugal, USA and China). I'm graduated teacher of sports and geography (Botha are my hobbies too) I love sports and i'm sure that any regular physical activity is very imporant for us to be happy and healthy. I just love to meet new people, share our life experience and happiness. We are all humans, together in here. Respect each other is the most important thing to me.

I would say my main skill is to be willing solve everything with a smile. I can work around the house, with kids, on the garden, with animals, at the field. Also i´m physically fit so even harder or heavier jobs are fine. I would love to be a teacher of sport and geography so my relationship with kids is very good and natural.
I am also certificated massage guy, so i can help you relax or event help you with (back,..) pain. In my family we like to rest next to heating stove so i am used to work with wood too.

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Help us teach English to ...)

We spent 10 days here and had a really positive experience overall.

Before our arrival, communication was smooth and friendly, which made planning the trip easy. Finding the place itself was a bit of an adventure, but once we arrived everything worked out perfectly. The town is easy to reach from Sapa and has everything you might need, including … read more shops, restaurants, and other basic services.

When we arrived, we were welcomed by the other volunteers and later introduced to the local team managing the project while Nadine was abroad. They provided all the information we needed and quickly helped us settle into our accommodation.

The highlight of our stay was definitely teaching English to the adult students. Four evenings each week, we spent two hours in conversation classes, and we genuinely enjoyed every session. Many of the students travel quite a long distance to attend the classes because they are eager to improve their English. Most of them balance work and family responsibilities, so finding time to practise outside the classroom can be difficult. Despite that, they always arrived motivated, smiling, and ready to learn.

At weekends, the project also runs educational activities for children aged 6 to 14. Rather than focusing only on traditional teaching, the aim is to create a space where children can explore new ideas, make choices, and experience a more flexible style of learning than they might find in regular schools. This makes the volunteering experience varied and interesting.

One thing we learned is that every volunteer brings a different personality and teaching style. There is no single “correct” way to lead activities or classes, and part of the experience is discovering what works best for you. It was a great opportunity to gain confidence and try new approaches.

The house itself was beautiful and created a welcoming atmosphere for both volunteers and students. The surrounding area is stunning, with plenty of opportunities for walks and exploring nature during your free time.

Looking back, one of the reasons we enjoyed our stay so much was the wonderful group of volunteers we shared the experience with. We were lucky to meet great people, and together we created many memorable moments.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to be part of this project. We wish you all the best for the future and hope many more volunteers will enjoy the experience as much as we did.
