Hi!

I’m Julie from the south coast of England. I’m a positive, happy person, I love living near the sea but I also love to get away from the busy city life and spend time in nature. I am always looking for new experiences and ways to be happy without money and material things!

I have recently come back from a Workaway in Slovenia helping out with digging, gardening, weeding, feeding and cleaning out the chickens and picking herbs…it was amazing I really enjoyed it! It’s hard work but it’s a great cultural exchange. I think more and more people are realising the value of a simple life, helping others and learning new skills to become self-sufficient and happy!

Plus I’m very young at heart and always laughing and smiling! I’m very relaxed and easy going in life but hard working too. I love food and healthy living as well as walking/hiking and yoga and anything a little bit different!

I don’t need much in life… some great company, beautiful surroundings, sharing stories, local food (I can cook too and I’m not fussy at all) and getting to know different cultures and traditions, but equally I can spend time alone enjoying the peace and quiet!

I speak French and Italian so happy to pass on my knowledge if anyone wants to learn/improve these languages. I speak some German too as well as a little Polish due to my mum being Polish.

I am willing to help with whatever needs doing and I’m always keen to learn. But can also contribute around the house with cooking and cleaning/washing up etc too.

I’m easy going, flexible, open-minded and get on with all kinds of people. I’m ready to share some amazing new experiences, help in any way I can and hopefully make some friends for life! :-)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I’m a good communicator, flexible, reliable and keen to learn new skills, enthusiastic and always have a positive attitude! I’m fit and healthy so willing to do physical work, would be happy feeding and cleaning out animals (I have rabbits at home). I can cook various meals and would love to learn some local recipes, and of course happy to help around the house, cleaning etc.

I’m also good with languages being half Polish (I speak a little) and can teach some English but I also know French and Italian :-)

I’m easy going so happy to fit in with whatever needs doing!

I have a keen interest in healthy living, food as therapy, healing herbs, crystals etc and I enjoy yoga, meditation and some singing and dancing with friends! I love music of all kinds. I work in a bar (typical English pub) as I like socialising with people but I also need quiet time to myself.

I am really interested in learning about off grid living, growing your own food, purifying rain water and generally living a more simple and creative life :-)
