We are a couple from California traveling through South America for a few months and looking for somewhere we can stay a while and do some good work. We love to work with our hands and can’t wait to get them dirty. Duncan is a professional tree trimmer in San Francisco and I (Julia) am an avid gardener. In my garden I grow fruits and vegetables for us and our family. Duncan can climb and prune trees, including fruit trees and neither of us are strangers to hard work. We’re interested in taking a break from our travels to be productive and help out for a while where we can. We love to cook and eat and to try new things. We love people and kids and are very easy going. Duncan plays the Ukulele and is always singing songs. We can’t wait to be part of your community!

Somos una pareja de California que viajamos por Sudamérica durante unos meses y buscamos un lugar donde podamos quedarnos un tiempo y hacer un buen trabajo. Nos encanta trabajar con las manos y estamos ansiosos por ensuciarlas. Duncan es un podador de árboles profesional en San Francisco y yo (Julia) soy una ávida jardinera. En mi jardín cultivo frutas y verduras para nosotros y nuestra familia. Duncan puede trepar y podar árboles, incluidos árboles frutales, y ninguno de nosotros es ajeno al trabajo duro. Estamos interesados en tomarnos un descanso de nuestros viajes para ser productivos y ayudar por un tiempo en lo que podamos. Nos encanta cocinar y comer y probar cosas nuevas. Amamos a la gente y a los niños y somos muy tranquilos. Duncan toca el ukelele y siempre está cantando canciones. Estamos ansiosos por ser parte de su comunidad!

We are both lovers of the outdoors, food, cooking, gardening, dogs and other critters, kids, and much more.
Duncan - arborist for 15 years can prune, trim, cut trees and garden with ease. Former chef also knows his way around the kitchen. Basic Spanish and is looking forward to learning more.
Julia - background in nonprofit development and natural resources, worked on organic farms and experienced preserving food. Intermediate Spanish and excited to improve.

Ambos somos amantes de la naturaleza, la comida, la cocina, la jardinería, los perros y otros bichos, los niños y mucho más.
Duncan: arbolista desde hace 15 años, puede podar, podar, cortar árboles y cultivar jardines con facilidad. El ex chef también conoce la cocina. Español básico y espera aprender más.
Julia: experiencia en desarrollo de ONG y recursos naturales, trabajó en granjas orgánicas y tiene experiencia en la conservación de alimentos. Español intermedio y con ganas de mejorar.
