Beschreibung
Hello! We are two 25 year olds from the UK. We have been living in Melbourne for the past six months and are ready to trade the big city for some more exciting adventures. Our plan is to take the car all the way up the east coast to see the year out. We have been working in sales and data and are excited to give the office a rest. We are open to any and all adventures that we can fit in on our travels. Whether it is with kids, animals, under the stars, in the garden, in the water, we are keen to get involved, contribute to people's lives and learn new ways to appreiciate the world around us.
We both come from Manchester in the UK, where we met in sixth form. Before you ask, we are reds! We love cooking fresh tasty food from scratch, going to the beach, yoga, reading, coffee, geeking out on films, and we work hard to maintain our French streak on Duolingo. Since moving here we've started new hobbies including hiking and photography. Some of our best memories so far have been long weekends away, most notably The Grampians and The Great Ocean Road.
Here's a bit about us individually:
Jules - having grown up in Manchester and then studied in Manchester (Physics), I thought it was time to give another country (or even another city) a chance! I've been working in data for my short career but I already know I want to try something different that involves being around people more. Fun facts about me include I was once a ball boy for the top 8 tennis players in the world, I'm a black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do, and at one point I owned over 50 houseplants. I'm currently trying to revitalise old skills I've neglected since leaving school including art and tennis. I've had a surfing lesson here as well which was so much fun and would love some more time in the water!
Jude - I studied PPE at the University of Leeds and spent one year of my degree learning in Canada. That experience really taught me that there is so much of the world to explore, so many people to meet, and so much to learn. I am adventurous by nature and love outdoor activities like climbing and surfing. I, too, have neglected my creative side since moving here. Back home, I would play the guitar, paint with watercolour, and perform poetry at open mics. I love story telling and even more than that, I love living all sorts of experiences knowing that one day, they will all make a good story to tell friends, family, or anyone who'll listen. If the water is really cold, I might need some encouragement to jump in, but I'll always do it - I'll never say no!
We look forward to meeting everyone and making some memories!

Was könntest du arbeiten?
Jude
- I have painted murals and helped build school buildings whilst volunteering in Bolivia
- I also taught English to high school students in South America. I have rusty Spanish skills, my French is definitely better
- I have many years babysitting and child-minding experience and I love it!
- I'm from a family of dog lovers so any job of any size is welcomed, washing my Dad's husky was a challenge but I managed it!
- Whilst Jules would be the go-to for maths help, I am the proof-reader and editor for all my friends and would be happy to help with any English or humanitites homework
- I have worked for cleaning and catering companines so happy to get stuck into whatever the job requires
- My mum's pride is her garden so I love to help her out there, one year it took me a few days of work to uproot a particualry stubborn rose bush
Jules
- I studied Physics at University and have been tutor so can help out with any science/maths homework
- Spent my entire work career on computers and I'm also the family tech contact so I'd love to help out with any issues here
- I love being creative, I have fine art, sculpture and embroidery skills, which I have applied by helping my dad paint the house, build garden sheds, flower beds etc
- I became a houseplant enthusiast in University so I know how to keep plants happy - I would love to extend this into outdoor plants so any work around the garden would be great
- I have been a qualified tennis coach for 5+ years, teaching all ages from 5 upwards, so I would be happy to teach anyone
- I go to France every year and help open the house and maintain the pool, which needs refilling/cleaning every year
- I also started learning French to help with these annual trips but I am still a beginner and would love to improve
- I've grown up around animals, mainly cats, so I would love to sit any animals and give them the attention they need
- I cook for friends and family regularly so very happy to help out or run the meals in the kitchen, experience cooking for all including vegan/veggieAlter

Jules is annoyingly obsessed with anything Tolkien and fantasy. Jude will always put dogs as the number 1 priority ahead of Jules.
We love going to the cinema, visiting museums, and exploring new areas by trying their food and coffee.
We do love a board games night with friends, although we can get quite competitive. We love a strategy game like Catan or Ticket to Ride. Card games nights is where it can all get a bit heated (in a good way).Etwas mehr Information
