I´m Jose Luis, I'm from Mexico and I'm 29 years old and I have been travelling around Europe since May of this year and I have met amazing people from the way!!!! In the beggining I was enrolled in a short volunteering program in Germany called International Youth Foundation and I spent there 3 months in the city of Offenbach, very near from I rankfurt, and I did there many cultural activities & workshops such as English classes, promoting cultural events from Latin America and get donors and sponsorships to the activities of IYL

When I finished this volunteering program, I decided to continue travelling by myself such in Hostels, Couchsurfing or using Workaway. My goal is travelling more time with all possible methods, like Hitchhiking or using apps like BlablaCar, saving money and at the same time to have amazing experiences helping others while I discover countries and awesome places on the road!!!

That took me to apply in a Hostel in Dürres, Albania. I decided this country because it was very cheap, but also because is in the region of Balkans-really interesting, for me- and suddenly many people was telling me that this place has many things to discover and beautiful beaches that worth it!! So I was really exciting all the time!!

In the hostel, I did from everything such as watering plants, prepare breakfast, cleaning & changing beds, help in reception with check-ins, socialize with the guests and travellers playing card and boardgames, keeping an eye on the bar, among other things. In the hostel, I felt like a member of family and I spent with Antea the manager an incredible and lovely time!!!

After my stay in the hostel, I decided to go to North Macedonia visiting incredible places such as Iake Ohrid, Canyon Malka and its incredible and modern city Skopje.

But after that, I decided to enroll to a second collaborative experience and without knowing the exact place, life brought me to a remote and isolated village located in Bulgaria, very near to the border of Serbia and Romania with and amazing view of Danube, with a family owner of a small vineyard. So, since that moment, I started to learn many things about gardening, building, picking grapes and start to produce wine. Even though, this place is really isolated and there are no many places to visit, the company with the other workawayers was incredible and I had an excelent time there!!!

Right now, my next destination is Greece, so I'm waiting for my next adventuree......
