Up for anything! Love trying new activities, especially if they are outdoor-focused or social! We spend half the year as tour guides in Europe, and the other half of the year exploring and growing.

Beschreibung

Joe - I live to step outside the boundaries of everyday life. I want to look back on my life one day and see a book full of vivid stories, amazing memories, and incredible people. I'm very outdoor orientated and love physical work, I did office work for a couple of years and my soul has never been so drained. I am a creative at heart and need some way every day to express myself creatively. I'm learning more and more about sustainable living and one of my favourite things to do is cook up a storm! I once cycled for 6 weeks along the Eastern coastline of NSW, Australia followed by living the vanlife for 4 months - a build I did entirely from scratch. I now work as an active tour leader and spend my northern hemisphere summers in Europe showing people local cultures, customs, and nature. I'm also a professional photographer who loves candid moments, and a budding videographer.


Hi, I’m Ela! I’m from Croatia, where I grew up in a small village surrounded by my big family and our small farm. This upbringing gave me plenty of hands-on experience with physical agricultural work and a deep appreciation for nature and farming.
I’ve also worked in tourism for several years ( currently I’m an outdoor guide as well as Joe ), so I’m very comfortable working with people and adapting to different environments. I’m an adventurous and sporty person—I’ve enjoyed kickboxing, reading, and exploring new cuisines. I love being outdoors and am always looking for opportunities to learn new life skills.

I’m excited to contribute, learn, and share experiences with hosts around the world. Looking forward to meeting new people, immersing myself in different cultures, and making a positive impact!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Joe - I'm definitely a generalist. I've worked in property maintenance and am very fluent in fixing up most parts of a household. I am currently studying horticulture as well, working in a gardening store as my last job and a farm in the past so I can harvest, plant and assist in taking care of livestock. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty or work hard physically. I have demolition experience, some experience buillding dry wall and establishing outdoor facilities, and experience harvesting a variety of produce.

As mentioned I'm also a professional photographer who owned and managed my own business in Canada. I would more than love to take some shots of your workaways to advertise it or just for memories.

Was noch ...

I'm so keen on going for hikes if available as well as camping when given the opportunity. I'm a pretty lousy board game player but I give it all I got (and I can make you feel fantastic at it haha). I've also been trying to practise my art skills with drawings and paintings. When not found doing anything in the above, I can usually be found planning my next great adventure, baking some sort of dessert, or being a chatty Cathy.
