We are a young, recently engaged couple from a town called Hexham in North Eastern England. We both share a love for travel, good food, music, animals, nature and making the most out of life. In our opinion there is nothing more rewarding than visiting new places and meeting new people. The world has so much to offer and we feel, at this time in our lives, it would be a waste to spend it in the country we grew up when there are so many culture's and countries out there for us to experience. We are keen to exchange knowledge and work in area's we are not familiar so we can widen our life skills and abilities. We welcome any opportunity given to us and look forward to meeting you.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Joe:

Since graduating from University in 2020 with a degree in Film making I have been living and working in London in the film and television industry. I worked in the locations department which mainly involved liaising with location owners, preparing locations for shoot and facilitating the creative departments, making sure they had everything they need before, after and during a shoot. As I moved from job to job I worked with many different people ranging from young to old from all over the world. This helped me to hone my interpersonal, organisation and problem solving abilities. Constantly working to strict deadlines also helped me acquire great time keeping skills. It can also be a very physically demanding job as there is constantly equipment that needs moving and assembling throughout the day, I really enjoy manual labour, it gives me great satisfaction knowing my work is also keeping me fit and healthy.

In my spare time I also enjoy making my own art and am a keen photographer. I am competent with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere pro. I am very confident with IT and have brought my Laptop with me traveling.

When I finished High school in 2016 I got my TEFL certificate, I find languages very interesting and am currently trying to learn Spanish although i'm still at a very basic level.

Outside of work my favourite pass time is Skateboarding. Skating has helped teach me perseverance and resilience. It's also helped me get involved with projects such as building DIY skateparks and making video's with my friends.

Tara:

I graduated from University in 2020 with a degree in Sociology. I chose Sociology as my course because I am very interested in different societies, cultures and people. I think my degree helped me to gain a lot of insight into different traditions and social inequalities, but I find the best and most interesting way to broaden knowledge is by traveling, meeting and talking to new people.

For the last two and a half years I worked in a primary school in the city of Leeds (UK). I was a safeguarding officer and learning mentor. I mainly worked with deprived families who needed support and advice. I also worked closely with specific students who needed 1-1 mentoring. This role could be extremely challenging at times, but I felt it was also rewarding knowing I was making a difference and helping others. Some of my other duties at the school involved planning trips, supervising outdoor playtimes, running after school clubs and helping out in lessons.

I love and appreciate our enviroment and made sure to educate the school children on the importance of caring for the planet. I helped run litter picks in the local community and other green thumb projects. I am a keen gardener myself and spent a lot of time as a child on my Grannie's farm in Ireland, helping with the gardening and some manual labour such as building walls.

I am very confident in IT and I have my own laptop with me travelling. Whilst working at the school, I was in charge of running the schools social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter. I also wrote a weekly newsletter using Microsoft office and I can easily design a poster online.

I completed my TEFL qualification in 2020 and I would like to use this and my English language skills to teach others. I am also a very keen sportsperson and love exercising and keeping fit.
