Beschreibung
I am a Dutch filmmaker, 68 years old, based in Nijmegen in the Netherlands. In our company TriggerFilm (www.triggerfilm.nl) I make video productions for organisations and companies that work on social issues, food and sustainability. But I also film as a volunteer for my food blog Slow Foodies (www.slowfoodies.nl), and work one day a week as a volunteer in a CSA farm. Since a few years, I visit Italy or Spain to work on organic farms via WWOOF or Workaway.
I hope to share my love for nature, outdoor hiking and gardening with others, and develop my skills in permaculture and local recipes. As a farmers' daughter (cows, horses) and former nature conservationist (Greenpeace, World Wide Fund for Nature) I also love working with animals.

Background
I bring knowledge in communication, but also nature conservation, as I worked for Greenpeace and WWF for some 20 years in Spain and the Netherlands. During that career I switched to communication and press work, published articles and educated myself in camera work and editing. And became an entrepreneur in film productions. In most of the things I do (I also have a blog on sustainable food: www.slowfoodies.nl), I am an autodidact. And I intend to keep on learning, especially on gardening, and regenerative agriculture.
What do I bring?
I am a flexible person, prepared to work on tasks that are needed. And I can add my skills in video, photo, blogs, vlogs or social media, and help you with your own communication products. I am new to Workaway, but have worked in several WWOOF projects in Spain and Italy in 2022.

Was noch ...
Regarding the dates: in October 2023, I intend to do a wildlife trip with Wildlife Adventures in Pescasseroli in the first week, and pick olives with friends near Penne in the last week. In between I hope to visit a Workaway project.
