Hi good people:)
I am Jesper from Copenhagen, Denmark. I am 53 years old and I work in a hospital where I help and take care of patients. I really like my job making a difference for vulnerable people. I work together with many many different kind of people from all over the world. In Danish my job is called a "portør":)

I am a kind and very caring person, down to earth, a bit shy and quiet but in the right place with the right people I am very open and like to socialize. I try to be consciously present and a good friend in life. I am independent, helpful and polite. I am happy in nature and respect all plants and animals with a special love for butterflies, turtles and dogs - I must say hello and cuddle them (I cuddle only the dogs of course). I like to run, mountain hike, kayaking, relax and see friends and family. Sit in silence or hug a tree. Or just read a good book. I eat mostly organic and not much meat. I am not a good "chef in charge" but in a team I like to help with food making. I try to take care of our planet the best way I can. I care for the simple things in life and don't need much.

I am fit and healthy, strong like 25 years:), and also young at heart and mind. I like to work hard and love being outside doing manual, simple but very essential work. I do not have much experience but I am very interested in learning about ecologically farming, permaculture, sustainable and "off grid" living.

I have recently joined workaway (spring 2022). I hope to meet very nice people and at the same time have some great new work and life experiences in beautiful places.

In 2019 I lost my girlfriend to cancer and maybe this way of traveling like workaway, connecting, helping other people and living special places for a period of time, also can help me and my healing. I hope so...

I have now had one workaway experience (april 2022) and it was just AMAZING:)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Currently I work in hospital helping patients. The human aspect is essential. Make a difference. Skills are mostly of a human kind, dealing with illness, be service minded, caring, helpful and polite. Total 20 years in hospital and healthcare.

I have some experience from 6 years between 2004 - 2010 in landscaping/gardening. Mostly stone/brick work as in terraces and steps. Clearing and preparing the ground. Also a little bit planting plants, trees and grass cutting, As it is some time ago I worked in this area I need a bit more thinking but I should still have helpful skills.

I am not a natural born handyman or DIY man but I am a good thinker, a quick learner, intelligent and have interest in learning new things so in a team or with instructions I can do most things.

I like to do cleaning. And I am good at tidying up and I happy doing the dishes:).

I am also a licensed physiotherapist from 2003 but I could not find balance in this profession so only experience is from education itself. But I know a lot about our bodies.

I am a kayak and running instructor so I can teach you if you like. I have lots of personal experience with many sports, activities and training.

I have a good connection with all animals and love to care for them. Dogs I like very very much and they know:)
