Hi!
My name is Jakub, and I am traveling through Canada with my girlfriend Mandy!
She is great at practical work, fixing things, crafting, animal care, cleaning, gardening, and an exceptionally great cook. I am from a small village in the Czech Republic, and I am quite a rural person who loves animals (especially horses and dogs), repairing things, fishing, nature, and hiking, so any ranch or farm work involving horse and animal care is something we would happily jump into.
We are very open-minded and free-spirited people who share a love for hiking, animals, nature, and hands-on work. We spent a year traveling through New Zealand, doing many different jobs, from farm work to hospitality to construction. I also worked as an aircraft mechanic, so I have some technical skills as well.
What could we bring?
We have experience and enjoy all sorts of animal care, mechanical repairs, construction work, painting, gardening, helping with cooking, cleaning, and many other tasks. We both enjoy learning new skills and aren’t afraid to get our hands dirty.
We have valid Canadian working visas, and we’re also pretty easy when it comes to meals, as we eat just about everything.
We’re so excited about this journey, and we are willing to share our skills with you. We also want to gain some experience, share our own, and experience life in Canada with locals! We hope to share at least part of this adventure with you!

Mandy is a hands-on skilled and very caring person. She is experienced in cooking, DIY projects, working with tools, animal care, wallpapering, painting, cleaning, and has extensive experience from the hospitality industry. I am experienced in repairing things such as cars, old motorcycles, and planes, but I can repair all house stuff too. I also have experience in animal care, gardening, painting, cleaning and so much more.

Our hobbies are - hiking, fishing, DIY projects, aviation and home-brewing. We are really interested to learn about horses, animal care, gardening, self-sustainability, and Canada!
