Beschreibung

I am a 28 year old male living in Aarhus, Denmark.
I the winter/summer season 24/25, I will now be having an opportunity to travel abroad for a longer period of time, which is going to be a dream come true.
With reagards to workaway experience, I already have some from 2023 in Germany. Now its time for another adventure!

Workwise, I enjoy staying active, whether its manual or communication work. I have done quite a bit of physical labor in the past, and although I am no professional, I have done some DYI for friends and family, or in my jobs. Professionally, I have a Ma.Phil. in Modern International History from Oslo, and so I am very prepared to do some more intelectually demanding work, if necessary. Of course, the reason I am doing Workaway , is a result of my interest in history and culture, but also because I like putting in some work effort with care.

Motivation/happiness: Getting new friends, meeting openminded and friendly people who are goodheartet. I also enjoy artistic stuff, like reading/philosophizing and writing, and I like good films.
Personality wise, I am neither very social nor introvert - A good book, good music or a hike alone is as great for me as working with others, cooking, having a gettogether, meeting new people and so on.
A good laugh or a serious talk - I am all for experiencing the different aspects of life! :))

I could certainly teach English and Danish up to a very high level.Danish is my mothertounge, and I recently graduated from a master's program done in English, including writing a thesis in English. Thus, my vocabulary and grammatical knowledge in Danish and English is sufficient for teaching. My german comprehension is very good, but I do not speak it very fluently. I would be able to teach it at introductory level.This year, I have started learning French, but I am still at beginner's level.Learning languages is a pleasure, and I believe my own passion could be transferred into enthusiastic teaching. Combined with my past job experience as a teacher at different levels and ages, I am certain that I am able to fullfill the role of a teacher very well.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am physically fit, and exercise regularly to stay strong.
In the past, I have been in the military, worked as stagehand, worked as a teacher, done a bit of construction, been a postman, and more. So i know quite well how to work hard, but effeciently, while having a good friendly tone and a nice atmosphere at the same time.

I also have a nerdy intellectual side. I can read and write academic English very well. My degree in modern international history has matured my opinions in several aspects. So, although I am a person with a clear idea of my own morals and preferences, I truly try to understand where people come from and I value other people's ideas and opinions. This is a valuably skill, as it enables me to make friends and work with almost anyone, even if there are big differences in background or personality. It could be called intercultural and interpersonal skills.

Was noch ...

Life is meant to me enjoyed - for me it can be with other people, board games, sports or swimming for pleasure. Outdoor activities are great!
Cooking with others is joyful everytime.
I strength train quite a bit, and I am very interested in how a healthy lifestyle in general can impact mood, motivation and overall cognition. I have practised meditation and philosophized with different methods over deeper/bigger questions.
I live to discover beautiful, meaningful and wonderous moments.
